Medical assistant profession

Created to free up consultation time in overworked medical practices, the profession of medical assistant (not to be confused with the medical secretary) offers new opportunities for recruitment and professional retraining. Discover the profession in detail: mission, salary, interning, possible training, retraining.

What is a medical assistant?

New profession shaped in 2018, to recompense for the rising lack of doctors and the boundless wait times to get an appointment because of the upsurge in the elderly of the population and the explosion of severe diseases, these health employees use to respond to a triple stake:

  • Promote better access to patient care by relieving the physician of certain time-consuming tasks (such as administrative tasks) and thus freeing up medical time. In this way, the healthcare professional will be able to see more patients and the patients will be able to find a doctor more easily, within a reasonable time;
  • Ensure better working conditions by offering the doctor more time for care and medical monitoring;
  • Improve management and steadiness of care with all the other players in the care of the patients.
  • Located halfway between the nurse and the doctor, the medical assistant supports a general practitioner or a specialist in his office on a daily basis.
  • The doctor freely can choose the assignments he wants to assign to his medical assistant.

Missions of a medical assistant

These health personnel support and discharge the doctor, for simple acts:

Administrative tasks such as reception, creation and management of the patient’s file, recording of administrative and medical information, setting up of telemedicine in the practice, etc.

Tasks related to the consultation such as taking constants, issuing screening tests, helping to perform technical acts …

Organizational and coordination tasks since the medical assistants will be able to coordinate the various players in the care of patients.

Qualities to become a medical assistant

The new medical assistant passed from Widad University will have to show dynamism, motivation, rigour, discretion and restraint, but not only. Widad not only produces graduates from their medical courses, they also have students that graduate with a business foundation course in Malaysia.

Above all a human profession, he must appreciate contact and show empathy.

Finally, thoroughness, obedience with the controlling framework and processes, mastery of IT tools and good ability of adapting to exercise in a multi-expert team will finish the picture.

Opportunities: where to work?

If the health professional already employs a medical secretary, he can choose to move her to the post of medical assistant through training, but he will then have to replace his post of medical secretary because the medical assistant is not intended to take the place of an existing job.

Then, the objective of this profession being to fight against medical deserts, priority neighbourhoods or areas lacking doctors will offer the most recruitment possibilities.…

Why Do People Love Scuba Diving?

Have you wondered about the fascinating obsession of the current generation with scuba diving?

Well, if you have then you have come to the right place! I am an extreme fan of scuba diving and I am holding out for the pandemic to be over to run and get my open water diver certification. And it’s not only me who is waiting for the day we are free to travel the world and see the wonders of the ocean. There are millions like me around the world who are dying for a good diving session.

And ofcourse, we have our reasons for loving scuba diving as much as we do. Let’s talk about some of the very insightful reasons!

A Whole New World

The ocean is definitely a world that is unfamiliar, cold, and vast. But it is also colorful, magical, and abundant with so many aquatic wildlife. Who would not want to see the miraculousness of angelfishes, seals, and other aquatic wonders? Scuba diving has given divers a whole new world and a whole new perspective to explore. People are given the opportunity to travel the world, experiencing new wildlife, and unique creatures, meeting people with the same interest as you and different expertise. You are not only opening up yourself to the vast ocean, but you are opening to new adventures.

Better Mental Health

Diving can get pretty addictive and it’s all for the right reasons. Many highlight the risks of diving and it somehow still does not stop us, divers. Even in the face of a pretty scary shark, the thrill of experiencing uncharted colorful territory makes it all worth it. Divers are known to have better moods, productive behavior, and much more wellness in their life. They are physically fitter, happier, and less stressed than the average individual. Having a hobby we love and educating ourselves every day through the new hobby of the ocean, does wonders to the human mind.

A Social Adventure

Did I mention that we meet very interesting people through diving? While we might be interacting with the ocean’s wildlife, we are certainly not doing it alone. Through diving, we interact with no many different people from different backgrounds and experience wonders with complete strangers. These strangers share the same passion for adventure, marine life, and the environment. So if you are looking for an activity that bonds people to one another, I cannot think of a better activity than scuba diving.

Helping The Ocean

Scuba divers are very environmentally friendly. Many of them go out on expeditions to clean the ocean and take out the junk, help turtles and other marine life. While the world is evolving technologically and in so many different ways, scuba divers are aware of what these changes do to the ocean and marine life. And ofcourse, they are big advocates for better environmental practices and saving the world. They have a bigger appreciation for the world and the organisms around them. And they are aware of what needs to be done to save them.

People love scuba diving because it is more than just about the ocean. It is a social activity that is also educational, fun, and exciting. So what are you waiting for? Let’s join more and more scuba diving adventures! …

Aspects Of Your Home That Will Affect Your Mood

One thing that not a lot of people know is that everything about your home affects how you feel. Our home is the place where we go back to at the end of the day to relax and wind down. Thus, of course, it has to be a place that allows us to feel relaxed and comfortable, not stressed and agitated. In order to achieve that, we have to put a little bit of effort into every aspect of our homes to make them more livable for us. Now, remember that what your house looks like should make you feel comfortable, not other people. Or in other words, you can get a second opinion if you really need one but, in the end, you’ll be the one living there. So, make the decisions that’d make you happier. Thus, here are the aspects of your home that affect how you feel and how to make yourself feel better:

Colour

Colour plays a big role in affecting someone’s mood. This is because certain colours light up certain parts of our brain. That’s why you’d see an office paint their walls beige or cream so that employees may focus better instead of having the walls be bright pink or red. A colour like red would be very alarming for some. And they can’t paint them white either because that’s too much like the interior of a hospital. Also, side tip, the way buildings like those end up having great walls is partly because of the consistency of the paint that is used. A lot of the people in charge of those use antifoaming agent Malaysia so that their paint covers well and stays on better. For a relaxing or cool tone to add to your house, try colours like baby blue or mint green, you might just like it.

Interior

The interior of your home is where you’ll be most of the time so, of course, it has to fit your standards and be comfortable for you. For instance, making your interior somewhat monotonous with your wall colours might help. Maybe decorate your home with different shades of grey. Make sure to choose colours that go well together and complement each other instead of colours that clash. Other than that, try to minimalize things like furniture or decor so that your interior would not look too cluttered. Having a cleaner and less messy place can help people relax better after a long day.

Exterior

The first thing you would see after coming home from a long day is the outside of your house. If this part is not properly handled, then not only will you feel bad when you see it but your neighbours will also be a little judgemental for you but hey, we can’t really do anything about that one. People always have something to say.

Landscape

As for the landscape of your home, this is totally up to you on whether you want your house to look welcoming or not (yes, some people prefer it that way). If you want, you could have a few potted plants or plant some teenage trees so that they can grow over the time you’ll live there. This way, there would also be a reason for you to step out and help. …
